General Meeting | Prospective, New, and Toddler Moms' Meetings | Kids' & Family Events | Moms' Events | Membership in LFMOMC provides you with access to all of our regular club meetings and events. In addition to our monthly general meetings there are several special interest group meetings. LFMOMC also hosts a variety of club events throughout the year. Some examples are described below. General meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except December) starting at 8:00pm at the Sterling United Methodist Church on 304 East Church Road. Most months, these meetings include a guest speaker. Some examples of recent past topics for expert guest speakers have included "Kindergarten Readiness", "How to Speak to Your Children about Death and Dying", and "Bicycle Safety for Families and Children". Prospective, New, and Toddler Moms' Meetings A special monthly meeting held at 7:00pm (before the General Meeting) with an agenda tailored for expectant MOMs, new MOMs with children 2 years old and younger, and toddler MOMs with children 18 months to 4 years. Our club provides many opportunities for members to have a bit of fun. We have a Mom's Tea, a Holiday Party, and many other interesting events such as slumber parties and happy hour gatherings. The twice-annual consignment sale (spring and fall) are two of our biggest events of the year. Members have a chance to sell their used children items, work side-by-side with other club members, and get great bargains. Members also get to shop first before the doors open to the general public! For more information go to the Consignment Sale page. This annual convention for the Mid-Atlantic Parents of Multiples is a lot of fun! It's a chance to learn more about life with multiples and bond with your fellow multiples moms (there are a couple of dads that attend too) from the Mid-Atlantic area. It is in the spring each year for a long weekend. |
