Words Of Wisdom from Mothers Of Multiples

"Introduce finicky toddlers to new foods by asking them to help you prepare their meal. Oatmeal, cream of wheat, mashed potatoes, etc., will seem to taste better to children if they help pour, mix and mash!"

tripletsI found out that I am expecting twins (or triplets or more!).  Do I wait until the babies are born to get involved with LFMOMC or can I get involved now?

Prospective members may attend as guest for two meetings and receive two newsletters. Expectant mothers are welcome to attend the meetings and receive the newsletter until two months after the birth of the multiples.

Do you have to be a member of LFMOMC to sell items in the consignment sale?

Friends of members and members of other Twin Clubs may sell items at the sale.   There are two ways that this can occur.

1.  Members can choose to manage all of their friend’s merchandise – or –  if the friend also wants to shop early, the friend must request two shift assignments (an early assignment and a day of the sale assignment). Members are responsible for explaining the yard sale rules to friends and must work the sale with the friend. A single check to the club member will be written and the club member is responsible for reimbursing friends. We welcome the extra profits friends of members bring to our sale.
2.  Friends of members and members of other Twin Clubs may sell items at the sale for a $25 upfront fee along with 20% of the proceeds.  This eliminates the need for the member to manage all of their friend’s merchandise.  They must also work two shift assignments (an early assignment and a day of the sale assignment).  We are limiting the number of outside sellers to only 20 people. We welcome the extra profits friends of members bring to our sale!

How Do I Register for the Site?

Members of LFMOMC may register for access to the members-only sections of our website.

Access to the members-only portion of our website is a benefit to members, giving them access to club event details, local events calendars, articles, club newsletters, etc.

Members can choose to register by selecting the "register" link at the bottom right of the website.  After filling in a short form, the registration process begins:
1.  A confirmation email notice is sent to the address you provided.  This is done to verify that you did indeed register for the site and not someone pretending to be you (spammers, etc).
2.  An email notice is sent to the registration coordinator to validate your membership.  If you are not a member, or have outstanding dues, your registration may be rejected.
3.  The registration coordinator approves your registration.  An email is automatically sent back to the email address you provided confirming your registration.
