LFMOMC Meetings and Events Membership in LFMOMC provides you with access to all of our regular club meetings and events. In addition to our monthly General meetings there are several special interest group meetings. LFMOMC also hosts a variety of club events throughout the year. Some examples are described below. General Meetings General meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of every month (except December) starting at 8:00 PM at the Sterling United Methodist Church, 304 East Church Road. Most months, these meetings include a guest speaker. Some examples of recent past topics for expert guest speakers have included "Kindergarten Readiness," "How to Speak to Your Children about Death and Dying" and "Bicycle Safety for families and children." <!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]--> Map of 304 E Church Rd, Sterling VA 20164-2926

Parent & Child Outings(photo from Jan 2007 Toddler outing to the Air and Space Museum at Dulles) Our Trips and Outings Coordinator tries to schedule at least one outing per month during the colder months for parents with children 5 and under. Past outings have included The Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center and the Loudoun Heritage Museum’s “Mad Farmer’s Tea Party.”
Consignment Sale The twice-annual consignment sales are two of our biggest events of the year. Members have a chance to sell their used baby items, work side-by-side with other club members and get GREAT bargains. Members also get to shop first before the doors open to the general public!
